The Appraisal Team at Fox Chapel Real Estate is headed by Harold Sankey who is a Pennsylvania Certified Broker Appraiser and Karen Besanceney, Pennsylvania Certified Residential Appraiser.

Estates appraisals:

An immediate inspection is best (but not necessary) to determine the effective date value of the property when the owner passed. Two appraisals will be done for an ESTATE APPRAISAL. The current market value which is how much it is worth if put up for sale is done for capital gains. The other is effective date appraisal which for tax purposes determines the value on a certain day.

Assessment appraisals:

The real estate assessment office has their own way of determining value different from Refinance appraisals, Purchase appraisals, and Estate appraisals. We will help you determine if you have been over or under assessed for tax appeals.

Bankruptcy appraisals:

Your lawyer says you need an appraisal. Let our team walk you through the process so you know what is going on with the value of your home.
